About Us
Tritan Consulting Services was founded in 2018 to provide customized service to clients in the drinking water treatment and wastewater treatment field. We work with both public and private entities to get their necessary state and federal permits for their operations and guide them with the development of the required permit documents, including O & M Manuals.
We have expertise with all types of NPDES discharge permits (stormwater, dewatering, etc.) and reclaimed water use permits which often are associated with our clients' operations.

Our staff are licensed professional engineers in both Nevada and California who have over 35 years of in the field experience working in the water resource industry. It's our philosophy to empower our clients with the necessary information and guidance to maintain compliance with all water related permits.

Clark County Department of Parks and Recreation Reclaimed Water and Water Rights
​
We have had the honor of assisting Nevada's largest parks department with all of its water rights and
water discharge permits since 2019. In this capacity we have completed water right filings and ensured
all regulatory requirements for their reclaim water use permits are being met on a timely basis.

Washoe County Department of Community Development Wastewater Treatment
​
It has been our pleasure to assist the engineering staff with updating their operation and maintenance manuals at the Lemmon Valley WRF and the Cold Springs WRF. Both of these projects had unique conditions based upon their locations and required negotiations with NDEP (Nevada Division of Environmental Protection) to ensure full compliance with state regulations.

Snyder Ranch in Lyon County Biosolids Application Project
​
We assisted this family-owned ranch in Lyon County, Nevada with a biosolids permit with NDEP that allowed the application of domestic septage to its agriculture fields. This reuse project provided essential nutrients to the soils to allow the growing of grasses and alfalfa for cattle feed. All federal requirements for the issuance of the NDEP permit were completed, including the development of the operation plan and comprehensive nutrient management plan.

Pahrump Utilities, Inc. Sludge Drying Bed and Rapid Infiltration Bed Project
​
We partnered with Resource Concepts Inc. out of Carson City to provide design drawings for new sludge drying beds and an innovative enhancement to their rapid infiltration basins. Each of these projects required coordination with NDEP to meet the regulatory requirements.
